Band Information:
Chez' Cheese hails from Lima, Ohio and is a good mix of fun and song for a night! Billy and Newman perform an excellent blend of harmonies as well as guitar musicianship. Always good for a joke or a laugh, the band performs all kinds of music from the '60s to present. And with the assistance of Newman's one man band in a box, the band covers all genres of music from easy listening to danceable and actually sounds like a full band!
And just ask; the band isn't afraid to try songs it has never performed before! If Newman or Billy have heard the song before, they'll give it the old college try!
The two band members have come from many other bands throughout the years. Tony Newman was an original member of the Indoorfins band and has also been in many other bands including Bif Debree, Candi's-X, Against Time, Phase Nine and Worlds Apart.
Billy began his music life in the Phase Nine band. Later he was the founder of Candi's Dirty Secret and later Candi's-X.
Newman and Billy first got together when Candi's Dirty Secret was recording its first album. Newman produced the album and played some guitar leads. Later, Newman joined Billy in the Candi's-X band. Newman and Billy became friends and...as the story goes, it has evolved to this...Sort of scary, isn't it?
And thus is the cheesy story of Billy and Newman....
